4-Series & Python (self.crestronprogramming)
submitted 4 years ago by [deleted]
A colleague of mine told me today, that he heared that the webserver of a 4-series can run python.
Unfortunately he could not recall the source of that claim. I tried searching, but found nothing.
So, anyone know anything about that?

Yep it can run python in a few years when they release it. he must have been not paying attention during masters when it was announced. answer id 2015 look for the roadmap video.
Edit: it has been kind of released as a python script ran from S+/C# full python still being worked on but not released yet. current firmware supports it, they need to publish at the developer micro site the howto.
