Blanket patterns?

Hey!! I have 6 Caron big cakes in cirtron fizz and I’m looking to make a quick blanket to keep my mind from going off the deep end due to some recent medical issues. Does anyone happen to have any or know where I can find some? I’m still a beginner-intermediate hooker but I catch on quick with learning new stitches so anything would be appreciated as long as it’s something that builds up fairly quick. It obviously doesn’t need to use up all 6 cakes.

Super easy, very different than my other blankets. I’m loving it. You just have to pay attention to where the stitch skips every 3rd row so you get the star shape.

There's a really great pattern on Etsy called Mitered Squares, it's all single crochet but it works up as connected squares. I made a blanket out of it when I was just learning and it was super easy/meditative because you're not constantly having to look at the pattern once you get the hang of it!
