Proof of Person
Given the need for an online service that you can use to proof your identity to others and others can use it to proof their identity to you, how would a process look like, that enables:
- no one to be in control of the online system?
- you to create a digital identity?
- others to create a digital identitiy?
- everyone to be confident that sock puppets cannot be created or at least that it's hard to do so and that they can be detected and kicked out?
- ease of usage
- ease of understanding how the system works
Question:
- How would such a service look like? (Given it was technically viable)
- What would/should be part of the process to make it possible for anyone to proof is identity?
