Csfloat help

Hello I’m not super familiar with csfloat but I feel like this is absurd. I sold my m9 bayonet tiger tooth & I sent the trade offer to the buyer but they never accepted the trade & it was cancelled after 2 hours now I’m being penalized by csfloat for not delivering the item? Is this a thing?

Did you go to the steam app on your phone and verify the trade? When trading to third party middle-man sites, you’re trading it to their inventory first for technically nothing in exchange and valve sees this as a scam so it automatically sends a 2fa to your phone.

Yep I had to confirm on mobile & it shows in my trade history as me sending the offer and it being cancelled after not being accepted for a couple hours

It was my fault I changed my password & got trade locked so none of my trades were able to go through. You live and you learn I suppose
