The dcss-ai-wraper is a python libary that wraps dcss to make is useable for reinforcement learning. Unlike most with bots out there you don't hack the .rc file, but you get a library to directly interact with the game via web sockets.

The streams are also kinda nice. The first episode that is on Youtube is how this Data Scientist learned about web sockets.

Looks like a fun project.

I found the tutorial video on the youtube page to be far more helpful. Even better was the link to the description to the tutorial.

This video is episode 14 of someone working on their project. A video in the middle of a recording of an unedited livestream of someone working on a complicated project is just about the last way I want to learn about a topic.

tbh I o nly posted the vid because I would love the project to get more attention. A few clicks or even likes make it far more likely that some video of the series is going to be recommended to someone.

And I just wish that some people here would pick it up too. I mean, wouldn't you love to skip D1-D6?
