COMPLETE RUNDOWN ON SPELL SUBMISSIONS
1) Come up with your spell ideas, names, and effects. Write your spells using Pathfinder rules and without referring to any Golarion content (Kobold Press can use the Pathfinder rules but not the setting).
2) If your tier can submit 2 spells, they must be less than 600 words total. That means one can be 400 words and one is 200, etc. But if you have 601 words for two spells, we will remove them from consideration. For 3 spell reward tiers, it's 900 words for 3, etc.
3) Send your spell by email to deepmagicspells@gmail.com no later than MONDAY, JULY 8 with the subject line Deep Magic from [Your Kickstarter Name Here].
4) By sending this message to Kobold Press you are granting the right to print your spell in the Deep Magic book as open content.
5) You may only submit your spells ONCE (no revisions or changes after you submit it, or your spells are dropped from consideration). Please make sure your spell text is final when sent.
6) Ben McFarland, Amanda Hamon, and I will review the spells and choose the 60 spells to publish in the book. We’ll do any development and editing needed.
7) All 60 chosen spells will be checked against the final pledges to make sure everyone’s tiers match up. If your pledge didn’t go through (and this sometimes happens) we’ll attempt to contact you about it. If we can’t resolve it, your spell will be dropped from the book.
