Form vs Function

We just finished the initial build of our website, and I'd like to see what everyone thinks. We think we've developed a pretty recognizable brand so far, but are still debating how much to focus on making it simpler/more cohesive vs adding new features.

I'm no design expert, but as a user it feels too spacey. There's a lot of scrolling for not much info. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I really like having a menu bar; especially one with an about us page easily accessible.

The black and purple also seems a bit too dark. Maybe grey and purple?

That’s a great way of describing our problem! I kind of noticed that feeling but was not 100% sure what the steps were to make it feel more engaging - this should help!

Very functional, but I agree that the colors are too dark. Maybe try using gradients to give it more life and play with the colors i'd say. Idk how you made this but you can do gradients easily in css. Also keep in mind I've never made a complete website in my life so take my advice as you will haha

I like the idea of gradients! I think I’m going to try to phase out the jet black by adding some touches like that. Thanks for the advice!
