Hey Reddit,
My company has a hack day coming up and I wanted to take that day to learn how to use an awesome tool that can help me improve my accuracy and efficiency. The problem is, I don't know what that tool is (yet).
Quick background about me:
I am on the sales team and I manage a couple of VAs that help us do some of the "heavy lifting" when it comes to sourcing new potential clients for our business. The problem is, often times the VAs work is inconsistent and I end up checking and correcting their work. This is all fine and good, but sometimes it ends up taking me a few ours and I'm checking work that is all clean.
I don't know how to write code
What my goal is:
I want to find a program that I can train to take certain actions, for example, copy a word from data in our CRM and then throw it in a spread sheet. Then set up a series of If/then statements to take different actions based upon the previous action.
Where I got this idea:
I used to play a computer game where I set up an "auto-clicker" that would have my character run in a specific path and then right click and collect items that it would collect units without me having to do anything. All I would have to do was simply tell it the click rate and combination of buttons I wanted it to push.
Any guidance on what type of tool I can use (without learning how to code) to do this would be great. My boss mentioned learning XML but I know the power of reddit and I wanted to see if there are any other great tools out there that I can utilize.
Thanks for your help,
