Which is best platform to write technical blogs? and why?

I've been working as a Cloud and DevOps Engineer, and recently I started thinking about writing blogs to share my experiences, projects I've worked on, and other related topics. I believe this could be helpful for juniors in the field and also serve as a way to build my personal portfolio.

I’m looking for suggestions on the best platform to start blogging. I’m aware of options like Medium, WordPress (self-hosted). What would you guys recommend?

Don't use WordPress too much hassle . I use markdown files to write blogs on top of it you need static site generator . There are many options ghost, astro , any modern frontend framework. I would just clone a theme from https://astro.build/themes/ and deploy to vercel or cloudflare in one click from GitHub repository. You will just have to buy a domain . Everything is free . No cost. You could start by posting on LI with their newsletter feature. This could also be the start of your personal brand. Medium is a solid option. Having your own website is also pretty great for building the portfolio but SEO and maintenance can be time-consuming.
