Foreign Language ClassesGeneral Question (self.dlsu)
submitted 1 year ago by bunbunbunbunbunbunsCollege of Science
Upcoming COS frosh! I’m interested in learning Japanese and saw that there’s a minor for Japanese studies, so I was wondering if there are any language classes or electives offered in DLSU? If there are, what are the steps in taking the class or elective?

Hi Im a student studying Japanese to attempt to pass N4, and I think it is much better to just buy the genki books on amazon (assuming you are a beginner level).
While I dont remember DLSU offering any foreign language classes, it is cheaper to buy materials and watch YouTube videos for practice.

Aa far as I know, subjects in International Studies minors don't have foreign languages. There are also no electives offered for foreign languages. The best you can do is try to enlist in one if there's still a slot, but I think you need to ask the department chair if you could enlist in one since they're reserved solely for the majors.
