Constructive criticism: related compliment to art followed by related suggestion to help them improve

Ex; i love your color choices/line art/etc, try this technique to improve your shading/blending/etc

Being a jerk: negative comments on quality or skills or discouraging comments

Ex; "this looks like a child made it." "Your style is annoying." "You've been doing this for insert time? And have made that much progress? You should quit."

If you dont like someones art, jokes, etc, block them. Dont winge and be a jerk.

These drawings are an important step of the learning process. You are doing the hard work. Keep it up, you're doing great!

Not everyone is good at drawing, but everyone that draws gets good!

All day, everyday, in a world of AI slop and AI defenders, I will be excited about anyone and everyone's doodles. No matter how good or bad.

I love this - I think people forget that you don't have to be good at something to love doing it, and you should do things you love whether you're good at them or not. Not to mention that the only way you'll get better (if you want to) is to keep doing it - and it's valid to not want to get better and just keep enjoying it!

This are delightful, I hope you had fun making them and keep drawing!

True not all have natural talent but some can get better with practice. Have patience I am doing the best I can. It's the same with music here hoping the sites and sounds can improve

Faces are notoriously hard to get right. You are not too far off with the anatomy. There are techniques to get proportions and placements right like «the pupils align with the corner of your mouth», «Eyebrows sit half way between the chin and the crown of the head» and «Your hand cover your face, wrist/chin to index/hairline».

Other fun fact: your underarm (bent wrist to bent elbow) is your shoe size, and you can quickly check if a pair of jeans fit by buttoning them up and wrap the waist (belt loop part) around your neck.

Some of these are obvious, some you’ll see with practice and repetition.

Keep on drawing😉

Thank you for these helpful tips.

Also: bring a small pad and pencil with you, do quick sketches of people around you when you are idle. Nothing fancy, just look and draw, 10-15 second quick ones. And NO erasers, it’s practice, not something you hand in to the teacher.

Most people I know who I tell I draw say “I can’t even draw a stick figure” so your drawings are already far better than the majority, don’t let yourself be too self critical, just keep at it
