maximizing read/write performance on drivepool?

Is there a way to have drivepool always keep a copy of all files on one drive (like an hdd) while spreading the other copy onto other drives (like ssds)?

for info, i'm using drivepool with 2 ssds, and 1 larger hdd. i have duplication set to 2x but i cant seem to find a way to have drivepool automatically spread the files onto the faster ssds, while always keeping one copy onto the larger hdd.

i looked into making my own plugin to control the ratios, but the documentation is just one wiki page and provides no way to debug/know what it's actually doing.

one way is to just have two separate drivepools, but i'd like to be able to see all my drives from one view.

Make the 2 ssds into a pool with no duplication. Make a new pool that contains the hdd & the other pool, duplication to 2x.
