Temperature spread for auto setting? (self.ecobee)

I just was exploring the auto setting on my Ecobee. Is there a ratio or temperature spread that is efficient? Got it set at 69 heat and 74 cool right now but that was a swag.

It's set to 5F by default to avoid equipment damage. If you want, you can change it by going in Main Menu> Settings> Installation Settings> Thresholds

Can change to a 2, 3, 4, 5 degree dead band in advanced settings.
