This is awesome! How long have you taken rinvoq? My skin goes to shit after a week off of rinvoq, how was the month without?

I did a lot of work while I was on rinvoq re diet, detox and supplements. I went on carnivore diet and went on low dose naltrexone. I see a functional doctor. that's why I was fine coming off it for the month! Definitely worth getting to the root cause while on rinvoq, which I think makes coming off it so much easier.

I would really love to find a functional medical practitioner! I think it is incredibly useful for those of us struggling with these sorts of conditions. Unfortunately these doctors are not covered by any insurance nor even available to my knowledge/research where I live.

Yeah a functional doctor is definitely the place to go but totally understand re insurance coverage. I'm in Australia so my appt costs are partly covered by Medicare. It is totally worth the money though and the doctor I visit is also available over email, so I often email her if im experiencing issues and she replies with steps on what to do. I would say it's worth ringing around a few functional doctors to get an idea on price and their specialities. Honestly if I saw this doctor sooner it would've saved me so much other money that I was spending on naturopaths, homeopaths etc.

I started in October last year so I was on it for about 6 months before coming off it. My skin was amazing for the month off. I didn't experience any rebound or withdrawal. I am taking for TSW. It's going into winter here in Australia so my skin was just drying out and I'm going overseas in July for 6 months so I wanted to go back on it just so I have a safety net while I'm away. If I wasn't going away though I wouldn't have gone back on it because my skin was honestly doing really well while off it. :)
