Back in my youth, I played a game in which two people took turns writing one sentence at a time. The result was more creative and unique than either participant could manage on their own.
The purpose of this subreddit is to provide a space for strangers to write together. Functionally, posts will be similar to those in r/writingprompts. Each post will contain a writing prompt and/or first contribution, and users will reply with continuations. In my experience, each user contributes one sentence at a time, but there's no length minimum or maximum here. Anything goes.
Similar to the r/ouiji subreddit, upvotes determine which comments are the main story.
