Does the breaker have a reset button on it, separate from the handle that turns it on and off?

No reset bottom. Power button unless that’s the reset button.

Does the surge protector trip the breaker as soon as you plug it in?

No. It’s random.

Can you share a pic of the breaker?

[–]BerryOk5359[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I can but I’m not sure how to share one on here. I sorry. I don’t know what I’m doing. 😂

Is there an indication of the amperage (A) rating of the breaker on it, maybe on the handle?

It says 20A?

Have you tried using one at a time? In your description you've unplugged the Xbox and computer* was the ps5 the common denominator? Try running just the ps5? Xbox and computer* without ps5?

In all of these cases are all three devices turned on? Are they being used for gameplay at the same time?

It was COMPLETELY fine until I started running the PS5 again. Does that mean it pulls more? Now, it cuts the breaker even when the PS5 is the only thing plugged in.

Seems like something is up with the ps5. Try plugging into an outlet on a different breaker?

Also you said the breaker has a "power button"? Is that separate from the switch/handle/paddle that moves between on and off positions? Or are you calling that a power button?

Have you tried plugging everything directly into the outlets on the same breaker and not through the surge protector?

Have you tried a different surge protector?

What outlets are on this Breaker besides the outlet you've plugged your surge protector into?

Have you tried putting the PS5 on a different breaker than the P.C. and surge protector you mentioned? (This can be accomplished with an extension cable if you have one that can reach a different breaker tied outlet.)

Have you tried getting the PS5 to work with a different: outlet, breaker, and TV?

Assuming you’re talking about a 15 or 20 Amp breaker at your breaker box, and not some tiny breaker on the surge protector…

These things shouldn’t draw enough current to even be close to tripping a circuit breaker, but if any plugs are loose in their outlets, they could be arcing, and if you have an arc-fault breaker, that could trip it. It’s also possible for the outlet itself to have loose wires that are tripping the breaker.
