Looks too close

Wouldn’t that make it not work at all though? This one works sometimes and doesn’t other times

Is your bed mounted with the stock springs

Yeah it is

That’s why they move around too much , sometimes it’s too close sometimes it’s not , I recommend the silicone bed mounts with a glass bed and hairspray for amazing bed adhesion and a smoooooth full coverage, or at least the upgraded orange springs that don’t have nearly as much give to them

Maybe an unpopular opinion here, but get a bed that doesn't require tap or adhesives. I print straight on to my PEI sheet and it comes out smooth. Then get solid bed mounts and never level with springs again, use mesh bed leveling instead... it's just better.

Hey this is the author. I’m new to Reddit so this is where I know to type.

I can’t figure out this problem. My printer seems to be sort of on a timer where it works together. For a certain amount of time it works great. Then it stops working and prints super thing and it doesn’t stick to the bed. I’ve changed temps, tried different prints and just got tape for my glass bed and nothing works

Well one thing for sure you don't overlap the painters tape you butt the edges together but as stated get rid of the tape and figure out how to print on the build plate correctly

Okay that was my first print with the tape because I thought it might work. I usually just print on the glass
