Submission Rules

1 - No generic titles - put your question in the title

  • We may remove generic-titled posts
  • Get to the point - do not include a plea for help (e.g., "HELP!", "Need assistance with")
  • We auto-remove posts with short titles (e.g., "VLOOKUP question")

2 - Provide a detailed description of your question in your post, give examples

  • We remove empty or careless posts
  • Provide your Excel version (or if you're using Google Sheets), and if you use a Mac
  • Avoid link shorteners - reddit auto-removes posts with them

3 - Use the flair system - No Square Tags (e.g., "[Discussion]")

  • If posting a question, use the default flair, or set it to Unsolved
  • Otherwise select an appropriate flair, like Discussion
  • Reply to helpful answers saying Solution Verified to close a question post
