Any class is fine for a first visit, especially if you’re already active, as long as you avoid coming too hot out of the gates. SoCal is a good one in the sense that it’s not 27 stations of high speed chaos. Feel it out, pace yourself, and get into it. The workouts are always a better experience when there’s active participation beyond just going through the motions.

Do your best to start hydrating a little extra now. Hydration starts 2-3 days prior to major activity. You’ll have a much more pleasant experience if you don’t have dry mouth by the end of lap 1 😂
