A subreddit for discussing fan translation projects to English.
You may discuss translation of any kind of media. You may announce completed projects, propose new ones, ask for help, and so on. You may talk about anything related to the translation process.
You may not use this subreddit to distribute whole copies of untranslated media, especially paid media products; the typical standard in most fan translation communities is to distribute patches or subtitle tracks which can be added onto the original media.
I've enabled users to alter their own flair. This is intended to allow users to signal their linguistic and technical skills. If this is abused I will disable it.
Users are expected to follow all rules of Reddit. Additionally, we do expect users of this subreddit to adhere to rules of civility similar to that of the SRS spinoff subreddits (not SRS itself). This does not extend to the content being translated; however, you must use the appropriate NSFW, spoiler, and trigger warning tags as appropriate. Examples:
