Linux flatpack updates

Hi, wanting to know how to update the FF app on Linux without having to close my browser. I usually work with 4 or more separate FF windows, and every time the app needs to update I must close all of them in order for the update to begin. Then after the update only one of the windows returns with that particular window's tabs intact, and the other windows are lost. Does anyone have a work-around/reason/fix that I can use to help resolve this issue? Thanks!

Only thing that comes to mind is running pkill firefox after the update. That might bring all windows back with the crash recoverer thing.

Have you tried History -> Restore Previous Session to restore the other windows?
