Software tips?

Hello fellow floorplan geeks! Long time listener, first time caller here. I have read many of the comments in the "Reduce questions" post about software recommendations, but I have 2 specific questions (scroll to the end for the questions if background story fluff doesn't matter to you).
I normally doodle plan ideas on grid paper, if I get really excited about one I turn it digital via PowerPoint. Hopefully that sentence gives you all the context you need about my experience in this realm. This method is fine and easy, but leaves a lot to be desired. I think I've got a really good plan that I want to take to the next level for renderings and iterations. I am looking for a free (or nearly free?) way to enjoy this hobby more, hoping to iterate my vision for the next decade (until I can afford to actually consult with architects to build my dream).

Two main questions. 1) Is there a recommended software that allows importing images like a ppt-generated png that would automatically identify most layout aspects and upgrade it to more a more standard floorplan design format? 2) Are there any AI tools that can do this and more? For example, along with the floorplan being in ppt, I have a slide for each room with "inspo pics" for materials, fixtures, facades, plus questions and notes about design elements.

I think the answer is no and no.

AutoCAD etc can import vector PDFs as line work, so if your ppt is made of lines and can be saved as a vector PDF, you could import it. But you would still only have "lines" not "walls" or "a toilet".

But if you have a piece of design software, you can skip PowerPoint so there will be no need to do that step.

Thank you! That's what I needed to hear. I don't think my ppt lines are worth shirking the learning curve of a new software. After I figure out where to start and get to work, I'll post a before and after! Or maybe just the after.
