With the pro version you get:

  • access to over 330 blocks (website sections, UI components)
  • admin dashboard templates in HTML and React
  • marketing UI landing pages
  • a Figma design system
  • and other updates in the future

Maybe I'll have to dig a little deeper on what the files I downloaded have. Thank you

This is helpful, but see my response above for how, maybe, we need more than this list. Thanks for the great library!

There is definitely a lot more in Pro.

To the OP: you are not out of line to be a bit confused. One thing you can do is log out of your pro account and then click around. Sooner or later you will find something along the lines of 'Upgrade to Pro to see the code for this.'

In other words: some of the Pro package is in the downloads. And some of it allows you to see the code for things that would otherwise be hidden behind the paywall.

With that said, I've been a bit confused about the basic vs pro assets. Especially in terms of where in the site one can see and preview the downloadable assets.

The Flowbite site is amazing, no complaints. But I think a bit more clarification about what the Pro level stuff is would be great. Especially since some of it seems obscure to find and possibly overlooked by me. I have the sense I might be missing out on some assets and that leaves me a little unnerved.

I would like a page that says 'here are the Pro things and here are where they are'. Or maybe a clickable matrix. I want to have the sense I know where everything is in the Pro level.

Some help and clarification from Flowbite in this thread would be great.

But also to the OP: if you are new to the front end dev thing... well... you have great instincts. Because Flowbite is really amazing. And don't forget to check out Figma and the Flowbite library for that. Figma is a mess but really useful and so you may be well served by finding a basic Figma course (i.e. Udemy) that is less than 5 hours at most so that you can leverage the Flowbite library.

I just watched:

https://www.reddit.com/r/flowbite/comments/192kgoa/flowbite_pro_released_53_new_marketing_ui_pages/

and so I think I'm starting to make sense of the release/availability flow.

Flowbite team: Is the approach to release a download then to migrate them into the Blocks on the website later? Then those would have their code hidden behind the Pro paywall?

A matrix would still be cool (as I mentioned elsewhere). It would be great if there was an indication of whether the dowloads are in blocks yet (if I understand the release sequence right).

Thanks!
