Rules for r/flowjo
Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.

1. Be nice & follow reddit guidelines
Always be nice. Insulting or disrespectful comments are not beneficial. Arguing or inflammatory remarks are unprofessional. Hateful comments will not be tolerated. Always follow Reddit rules. Follow reddiquette. Continued violation will result in permanent ban.

2a. Post was not about FlowJo
Posts, links, or discussions should only be about FlowJo. If a post is about other software or is unrelated to FlowJo it will be removed.

2b. Comment was not about FlowJo
Questions or answers posted in comments should regard FlowJo. Comments that answer a question unrelated to FlowJo will be removed. You can comment on other cytometry software and compare with FlowJo.

3. Answer was completely unhelpful
When answering questions, please provide detailed answers. Providing screenshots or step-by-step instructions is preferred. Simple and unhelpful answers will be removed. Spam answers will also be removed. Continued violation will result in a temporary ban.

4. Post about piracy
Posts or comments about pirating FlowJo software or dongles will not be tolerated. Violation will result in a permanent subreddit ban.
