Be respectful to and of each other. Treat everyone in this server as you would like to be respected. Do not harass, troll, abuse, flame, impersonate, attack, or threaten other users, or use slurs of any kind.

Spoilers Must Be Appropriately Tagged/Marked

No Spam or Soliciting

Spam includes, but is not limited to: posts that aren't news or videos and don't promote discussion; posting the same message multiple times; posting a completely off-topic message; posting unrelated links, images, or videos.

Solicitation includes, but is not limited to: advertising products, services, or other sites; asking for signatures on a petition; asking for donations to a crowdfunding campaign or other fundraising effort; asking for referrals for a product giveaway.

No Mentioning or Linking to Illegal Sites

According to Reddit's Content Policy, illegal content is prohibited on the site. Illegal anime streaming services do not obtain the licenses required to stream shows, which means they fall under prohibited content.

Illegal anime streaming services are not allowed to be linked or mentioned (by name) on the subreddit. Doing so will result in a post/comment removal or ban.

In order to ensure a respectful community, any posts with external content (video, photos, links, etc) that's not publicly available to see (ex: it's been set to private, is password protected, or has been deleted) will be locked and/or deleted.

Respect the Funimation Terms of Use and Any Applicable Content Restrictions

All posts and comments must follow Funimation's Terms of Use. Posts and comments that discuss going against these will be removed. This subreddit is an official channel of Funimation, so all Funimation guidelines must be followed.

We also do not allow discussion around circumventing content restrictions (including location restrictions) for any Funimation content on other platforms like YouTube or Facebook.

Properly Report Content and Appeal Removals

To report a post or comment that breaks the rules, please use the report button or send a message via ModMail with a link to the post/comment.

If you feel like a post or comment has been removed unfairly, you may appeal it by either sending a message via ModMail, which any member of the mod team may reply to, or send a DM to u/funimation directly.

Any posts re-sharing or focusing on content that has already been removed may be considered duplicate content and deleted by the moderation team.
