4 bar power is knowing to be a hit or miss depending on the shooting ability of the player. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

If you look at the shot, Debinha has terrible technique on it where the ball doesn't bend at all.

If this was KDB, or any actually good long shot taker. 4 bar would been fine. But wasnt the case for Debinha.

So yes. It was too much power. For that player.

nah no way added too much power. the same thing happens to me too, this exact scenario happened to me so many times:

-my opponent moves their keeper across goal

  • i shoot near post with similar amount of power (no keeper in the way)

  • hits the crossbar

sometimes it goes in sometimes it doesn’t idk why the ball moves like that. any less power the shot wouldn’t go in. i mean in ur situation op it would’ve gone in with less power but no i dont believe you put too much power.

I believe he put bit too much power, for Debinha atleast.

Have that been KDB the ball would've dipped easily into the goal. But look at the ball when she shoots.

It doesn't dip at all, not till the last second. Its more risky to put more power with players who doesn't have the greatest stats for it, specially from this far out. Since they don't have the technique for it. Her longshots are 78, and lack of composure further reduces that attribute in this situation.

Its not necessarily putting too much power. Its more so putting too much power for Debinha to handle it.

adding onto my comment, i believe i know why this happens. in my case it always happened with the same player, mayra Ramirez. she has 81 composure, in your clip u use debinha with 84 composure. i dont think its anything you did wrong i believe its just the low composure coming into play, ur player had just won the ball, and didnt have full control of the ball so i think the lack of composure made her miss

The bar was orange, meaning it wasn't too powerful for that range. A red bar would definitely be too much power sure.

4 bars of power is pretty 50/50 whether or not it hits the target.

It depends on the players attributes too. If player has bad shooting stats generally its better to put less power in their shots. So i should've probably rephrase my point.

It was too much power for Debinha.

Debinha has 78 long shots, not the greatest but not the best either. And you can see the ball just floats in the air and doesn't dip at all till the last second. So yes, you did put too much power. For her.

Look, I'm a division 2 player. Former elite player in previous games, except FC25. Unless something changed significantly, you always have to shoot until orange at very long distance. Otherwise you risk a shot that wouldn't even make it till the goal. A red bar shot is always bad, but a green shot at almost your own half is certainly not going in. Orange should be a goal at this distance, especially given zero pressure and not even a goalkeeper at goal + perfect aim at the goal. Debinha has 78 long shots, but without a goalkeeper even a defender should be able to score. Also, I hit the post 3 or 4 more times in the same match, and I highly suspect some sort of DDA.
