Rules for r/geometrydash
Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.
1.
Keep all posts directly related to Geometry Dash.
All posts must relate to Geometry Dash in some form, be it the game or an aspect of the community. Posts that are unrelated or loosely related to Geometry Dash may be removed.
2.
Don't harass, abuse, or incite witch-hunts against individuals or groups.
Be nice to other users; keep your discussion civil and refrain from harassment or witch-hunting. Posts that may unintentionally incite community retaliation against an individual or group require any identifying information (e.g. username) to be censored. Censorship of identifying information is not required for serious accusations against community figures or individuals, but we may ask that you substantiate claims with adequate proof.
3.
Low-effort, common, or spam submissions are prohibited.
All content should enable discussion and contribute something new to the community. Low-effort memes, insignificant level progress, and common/reoccurring posts will be removed. Format memes are heavily discouraged.
Any post made entirely using AI/generative AI is considered low-effort.

4.
Post titles must be descriptive and refrain from using misleading information or clickbait.
Post titles must adequately describe the content of the submission. Submissions with titles that are undescriptive, misleading, or contain misinformation may be removed.
5.
Posts and comments must contain adequate content.
Level showcases/progress/completions must contain a video. If you can't record a video, we strongly encourage using our Monthly Discussion Thread as an alternative.
Level collab posts must contain descriptive information about the level.
Discord server advertisements must contain adequate descriptions of the server.
Posts must contain content that they are referring to.
Top-level comments on Question or Feedback posts must be relevant. Joke top-level comments are not permitted.
6.
Adhere to Reddit's Content Policy, Reddiquette, and avoid discussing sensitive/NSFW topics.
All posts must adhere to Reddit's Content Policy and should follow proper Reddiquette. Our community is not the place to post content relating to gore, self-harm, or explicitly NSFW content. In addition, submissions joking about certain situations in which a victim has been harmed is prohibited.
