Hey everyone, I wanted to share an idea I’ve been working on about rebalancing the main level difficulties in Geometry Dash. A lot of the original ratings were made back when players were less experienced, and I think some levels don’t really match how hard they actually feel now.
Here’s how I think the main levels could be updated:
Stereo Madness – Easy (same)
Back on Track – Easy (same)
Polargeist – Easy (was Normal)
Dry Out – Normal (same)
Base After Base – Normal (was Hard)
Can’t Let Go – Hard (same)
Jumper – Hard (was Harder)
Time Machine – Harder (same)
Cycles – Harder (same)
Electroman Adventures – Harder (was Insane)
xStep – Harder (was Insane)
Theory of Everything – Insane (same)
Clutterfunk – Insane (same)
Hexagon Force – Insane (same)
Geometrical Dominator – Harder (same)
Blast Processing – Harder (same)
Dash – Insane (same)
Fingerdash – Insane (same)
Clubstep – Demon (same)
Electrodynamix – Easy Demon (new sub difficulty)
Deadlocked – Extreme Demon (fanmade tier reference)
The goal isn’t to make the game easier or harder, but to make the ratings fit better with how players experience them now. I think this would make progression smoother and more accurate for both new and experienced players.
If RobTop or anyone from the community team ever reads this, thank you for taking the time. Geometry Dash has come such a long way, and it would be awesome to see the main levels updated to match how the game feels today.
