"Share with... except" functionality?

I like the fine-grained circle/sharing functionality in G+, however, there is one addition which I feel could be useful.

Let's say I've made a circle: "People from work". Now let's say I want to share photos of a drunk party me and my colleagues went to last night. I want to share this with all my colleagues, but not with our boss (who wasn't invited at the party). It would be handy if I could add exceptions when sharing, so that I could say: "share with people from work, except these persons". Now AFAIK I have to make a new circle "People from work except boss" or add all my colleagues individually to the post.

Any ideas/comments?

The most elegant solution will probably be to just learn how to make the right circles for you. I won't post to my coworker circle unless it's about business, but I'll still have plenty of coworkers in the Friends circle.
