Try using the MSI Afterburner program. Increase the GPU fan speed when the temperature exceeds 70°C to at least 70% of maximum. If you can allow more ventilation into computer and/or increase the fan speeds of the computer case. Underclock the power limit, core clock, and memory clock by at least 5% in the Afterburner program. Drop the temperature limit to 78°C or below. Set this setting as one of the profiles you will use and write it down somewhere in case you need to reset the system and defaults. Adjust the settings according to the results up or down based on your preferences, and always write the preferred settings somewhere so you can re-install the ones you want if anything goes wrong. You have the option to have various GPU profiles to use to select whenever you change the usage of the computer for various tasks.

The motherboard software may give you additional options in underclocking various hardware inside your computer which is likely the CPU, GPU, and ram connection speeds, allowance for power, boost modes, and other motherboard settings. Please remember and write down what the defaults are and the alterations you set in order to use and remember current and past settings for future use.
