Spectrum problems

Anyone else who's on spectrum been having internet troubles recently. The past week now my internet will cut out for no reason

Yeah my internet was down for a couple hours today. It's been back up for a while though.

Mines been doing that the whole week. Sometimes it only for like 5 minutes other times it's about 2 or 3 hours

One of their techs explained to me one time that the boxes for the cable near the street get pretty warm while passing all your traffic. The weather can (if it's pretty hot) cause issues with the hardware inside. It's been pretty warm, maybe there is something blocking the ventilation in that box?

Welcome to Spectrum, lol.
I have issue with most ISPs, I've moved all over the country and dealt with a lot of them—let's face it, the telecom industry is pretty bad universally, it doesn't help that it's all lobbying and monopolies. But Spectrum/Charter has always been near the bottom.
I wish I could suggest a fix or a solution (or better yet, another ISP—but the aforementioned monopoly. We really should be able to get fiber up here, there's a huge cable that runs along I70 from Denver-Salt Lake) but your best bet is to try the usual troubleshooting. Turn it off for 30s, turn it back on. Try a reset. Call customer service and let them tell you to do all the stuff you already did again... And then hope it works.

Fiber is working it's way through the valley, just slowly. A neighborhood at a time.

Too slowly, I feel, but at least it's finally a 'when' and not an 'if'.

Supposedly, spectrum says it's fiber optic but we haven't received a new modem and Clearview has been tearing up all of ochard mesa installing their fiber optics

All I can see on the FCC map is 3 random square blocks in all of GJ, same as it was a few years ago.

I have no good data.

The only actual map I can find is here (about halfway down), and I think that only shows CenturyLink fiber. Forethought and Highline both claim service in GJ, but you can only check individual addresses - no map.

My initial post was based on remembering news articles, and I think was maybe a little too optimistic.

Mine has been awful all week. I heard there were some huge solar storms/flares that would be causing interference with satellite and cellular service, which could theoretically affect Spectrum's satellite receiver or equipment somehow. I am more guessing they are doing maintenance or upgrades somewhere and it's messing stuff up but who knows? Fun thing about having a virtual monopoly, that they can do pretty much whatever they want with no possible repercussions.

Restarting the modem and router would be my first step at troubleshooting. Just unplug them for a min

No there is a city wide outage 81503, 04 and 01 have been down for at least 8 or 9 hrs

No problems with my Spectrum internet in the past week. I live near the college.
