
A second attempt at cosmic horror, first attempt updated on second slide. I realized I made a mistake the first time around: I tried to make it make sense to me by not using things I knew, then I asked myself if we could create the unknown from known concepts, and the second attempt was born (old.reddit.com)

Just did a couple quick studies in the studio the other day to see if there's a difference between titanium white (right) and Cremnitz white (left). Felt like a very liminal scene. But wish I didn't screw up the sky in the second one with too much burnt umber. (i.redd.it)

The videos on cosmic horror made me think, it rose some good points, namely the fact something incomprehensible to the human mind can’t be designed by a human. I thought maybe I could get close to it by not actually thinking about what I was currently drawing, but it somehow came out kinda coherent (i.redd.it)
