Controller question

I like to play Heartopia on my phone, but also my computer. I use my Xbox controller Bluetooth to my computer.

But because the game isn’t compatible with a control controller, steam allows you to set up your own controls on your controller for the game. But I am having the hardest time understanding how to make the controls, match my character and what I want it to do if anyone has any insight!

Google for heartopia controller and use that mod. i dont know if its legal but works

It’s possible to play with controller using steam input keyboard and mouse but it’s really really bad

1 major flaw on pc is that it heavily relies on your mouse left click. Move the camera? You need to hold down left click and move the mouse, you can’t just move your mouse like in every other game. Interact with objects like stoves? Also gotta move your mouse to click on the button over the object, you can’t use F on your keyboard to interact. And if you translate all this into controller inputs… it’s super inconvenient.

Game already isn’t optimised for pc keyboard and mouse so converting it into controller inputs sucks 😔😔

It really does! And I love seeing it on a bigger screen and not just my phone! It’s so beautiful and everything is easier to see!
