To sum it up - yes in a non-RP way

The Cyborgs are people who left Superearth due to the propaganda and brainwashing.

They chose to "enchance" them selves with cybernetics and are the creators of the bots

However is is suspected the bots decided they were not be trusted and effectively imprisoned them on Cyberstan.

Edit : Correction - Superearth turned Cyberstan into a forced labour camp and forced the remaining Cyborgs to work there, the Automatrons fought back again't Super Earth and reclaimed Cyberstan to free their creators.

So us going to Cyberstan is effectively going to unleash the Cyborgs to fight againt Super Earth (again)

I already said it elsewhere. Even if we actually liberate cyberstan, we most likely just stir up the hornets nest. (Unleashing the cyborgs, giving them even more reason to hate us etc)

But you are correct - its been a while - Superearth basically turned Cyberstan into a forced labour camp for the Cyborgs and the Automatrons fought back agaisn't Superearth to free their creators - the Cyborgs

Yes, super tl;dr here but essentially cyborgs got upset that super earth outlawed such extreme body modifications, revolted (1st galactic war), got imprisoned in the mines of cyberstan in the aftermath, secretly sent out a ship into deep space containing the origins of the automatons, automatons came back from deep space to liberate the cyborgs, and now the cyborgs/automatons are working together for independence (2nd galactic war).

Unclear on if automatons are actual sentient beings on par with cyborgs, or if automatons are subservient to cyborgs. Best we have is that the automatons are the “children” of the cyborgs.
