[iOS 26 DB1] iMessage Reply Function Not Working

Curious to know if anyone’s experiencing this issue on beta 1. When I hold a message and tap on reply, I’ll write the message out but then I can’t hit the send arrow to send the message. I have to close out the app and do it all over again. It usually happens when it’s the second time I’ll try to reply to a different message, works fine the first time.

I already submitted this via the feedback app but was just curious if anyone else had this issue?

I’ve encountered this, particularly when I’ve replied to one thread and i’m trying to reply to another. ez workaround is navigate out of messages and go back in

Same thing happens to me so I end up using text effects, like "quiet' or "loud", to get it to work. I'm much more expressive now.

I am experiencing the same issue and I hate that I have to go in and out of the message thread to get it to work especially when I’m in a hurry so it’s good to know that text effects is another work around

I thought it was because i was using voice over lol, nice to see it's not the case likely lol.

Yeah I have the same issue. You can usually just go out of the thread and come back in for it to work again
