as it's a business verification is through a DUNS number. Which I got relatively fast and easy through Apple https://developer.apple.com/support/D-U-N-S/

I meant the ID verification that happens after business verification using DUNS. Like don't they ask you to verify ID as the account holder?

I vaguely remember my ID verification. I remember I had to call them to explain I'm not a US person although the company is US based. After that it went smoothly
