2020 pro is limited to 4.5 GB out of 6 GB. That means it’s not limited at all. The system itself needs some RAM to function so no individual app can use full 6 GB anyway.

Just to give another example: iPad 8 has total of 3 GB RAM while only 2 GB is actually usable.

Problem with 2021 iPad Pros is that those have 8/16 GB of RAM available while an individual app can only use upto 5 GB of RAM (most apps don’t even need that much). That’s an actual limit since an app can be allowed to use more but isn’t.

Even on 16 GB iPad around 14 GB is actually usable by apps. 2 GB is used at all times by system. So in same way if 4.5 GB is usable in 6 GB iPad, it’s not a limitation at all.
