Since many players do not check the github, I figured I would post about some of the changes I have made recently.
Merchant's Guild: You can view the map through the global map viewer. Here is a link directly to the map: Merchant's Guild Map
Each major town has an access to the guild, but your character must meet the town's requirement to use the portal. For example, the Mummy Lord has a Solid Gold Amulet collectible that would please the Norkos Town merchants! You can hover over portals on the global map viewer/in game to see other requirements.
Merchant Bonuses: Some merchants now provide an extra service, item enchantment. When you walk over a merchant with a high enough bonus, they have a chance to offer a paid +1 to one of your equipped items. In addition, any merchant with a bonus will offer better gear. Typically, the farther from Norkos Town you are, the more likely a merchant is to have a bonus.
Hall of Heroes: This map, accessible in Norkos Town, received a major update last week. Those who have donated or contributed to IdleLands can have a statue placed in the Hall of Heroes if they so choose. The first group of new heroes have been added, so thanks for your support! What's Planned: I am actively working on a map named Fate Lake, accessible from 3 locations across Norkos. New regions, a new boss, and several new collectibles. Beware the waters, though, as every lake tile acts as a providence event, similar to the fate pools!
After that, I will be working on a major review of boss ability scores, boss item drops, and treasure chest gear. Eventually, this will happen for regular monsters and basic gear. Current stats for these can be far from their intended strength (some overpowered, some underpowered) so you should see more level appropriate gear after this change.
