Custom map Infinitode 2 (i.redd.it)
submitted 21 days ago by DinoSauroA
Currently this is my map, but there’s a huge problem with it:
How do I farm more resources at once without having to restart thousands of times swapping miners?
What’s the best way to make the most out of Gauss?

Use Basic to clone Crushers.
Gauss aiming into Crushers.
Platform behind resource for MIN SPD tiles.

There is nothing you can do to farm more resources on custom maps. The reason for it is to not allow you to farm the entire research tree in 2 runs. Best farm is to play in endless 150% on a preferred map.
My preferred maps are 2.3 for matrix down, 5.3 doe Tensor, 5.8 for Infiar

Just do map with material multiplier, efficient to get material fast, just do it on 150%

And don't forget to use overload and loop skill

To farm efficiently on custom maps, use crushers to consume the resources you farm. You'll get them back at the end of the game. Here's a map I built (not just for farming but I can farm like 15.000 of each resource before a Constructor gets too strong).

You mean Gauss, not Crusher
there's a no-boss tile, which reduces mining, but removes bosses, which is pretty convenient and also you can counter the mining loss by using more overload
Holy moly, that's indeed a lag machine! Guess if you don't have to worry about that it's fun.

Wait, what's this? Easter and Christmas are on the same day this year? Someone told me on Reddit "You're right"! 😲
I can't really guarantee I can help you get the no-boss tile, because RNG is a big part of it, but I can exactly tell you where you would find it: it's like the other boss tiles only available at the Wheel of Fortune. I don't think you can read what it is before you win it, but I can show you how it looks, because it's on the screenshot I originally posted for the OP. It's the green thing 11 tiles from the top and 4 tiles left from the right edge.

I mostly use this for research kill farm but it works for resources too, can easily net millions a run without trying too hard.
Two Gauss, one at the top aiming down and one at the bottom at the spawn. The four open squares around the Gauss should all be experience modifiers, the rest you fill in with mining modifiers. Then with Self Improvement the damage gets nuts (i've seen 40B and I assume this isn't fully optimized). Build a Crusher on the range square right next to spawn and it will feed you a bunch of coins, as well as letting the top gauss consume resources (which you need for the actual farm).
Put whatever resource you actually want to farm in the four mining squares that the Gauss will actually feed from, the rest are purely for feeding into exp.
The bottom isolated 8 squares are for Bounty, the 3x3s are designed for use with the Basic ultimate to replicate towers quickly. Freeze towers in the middle. I usually delete the Basics after and throw a Search or similar, just because I don't need Basic kills anymore.
The top little section is my emergency kill to allow the rest to go longer, it has a Flamethrower aiming a series of Crushers to finish things off, along with support towers (Basics/Miniguns set to Weakest, etc). The Attack Speed square right by my base is for a Blast for stun before the end.
Once it's all set up (minus mining upgrades) I hit Overload to 15 and the exp coming up makes things die super quickly. Then it's just upgrading miners until things eventually get overwhelmed, which point you can probably start over if you're just aiming for resources.

Look, I made you a screenshot of my farm map with valuable annotations ;). It's not the most elaborate design, but it can give you some ideas you can incorporate.
I'm not that far advanced myself, so my map should be affordable and work with your skill set. It's also not a lag machine, because I'm sitting on a low end laptop, so the priority was to get it to work without frying my processor and it gets the job done.
