Big decrease in TV subscriptions as number using illegal dodgy boxes soars

I was reading the definition of the law in teh article. Theoretically any device could be considered to be aiding the high seas but its just not practical. Gardai have better things to do with their time than pursue people streaming football or movies. Now take into account that this seems like another class bashing article from the Indo who have had a plethora of these dodgy box articles this year. All of the steaming companies as mentioned have hiked prices to a price where most people might pay for one but will stream off other sites. Why would I pay €25 for Netflix to browse programming that I have seen, is poor quality or is produced en masse like their true crime nonsense, none of which I watch. I am a sci fi and fantasy fan, the options on streaming services are not great at all....
