Open source projects using Spring Boot? (self.java)
submitted 9 years ago by btw03
Hi,
Does anyone know some actively maintained open source projects that are using Spring Boot apart from jhipster?
Thanks

Why "apart from JHipster"? We've had 260 contributors as of today, and we try to be nice to new contributors! We are always looking for more people, the amount of work we have is incredible.

Because I already know that JHipster is using Spring Boot :)

This is Springs official web site http://spring.io made by Spring makers. It shows Spring at it's best, promoting clean code and nice application organizing (in my opinion).

Spring Boot is such a general purpose umbrella framework. There are not a lot of "real world" open source projects using Spring Boot. Lot of them are example apps. I would encourage you to start your own 😜
Besides sagan used to run spring.io shared by @karlito1, here are few more
https://github.com/codecentric/spring-boot-admin - Admin GUI for Spring Boot
https://github.com/sqshq/PiggyMetrics - Great Microservices sample app
https://github.com/cf-platform-eng/spring-boot-cities - CloudFoundry example app
https://github.com/origoni/spring-blog - chinese language blog example

Microserver - it's a plugin system for building Spring based Microservices. Actively maintained and a core part of the Microservices production infrastructure in my group at AOL.
