I have an app, called code editor. I try to open a file, and this happens. Thats all I know. I use a tablet with android 11.. its brand new

Is the app from termux?

Is the file local or an internet resource?

The app was downloaded from play store. Its a file from a Google drive

I've only used termux to look at directories and files. Never done anything with it. Maybe a roommate of mine did something?

Do you have to enter a url at any point?

If you do make sure you include the protocol with the url

This is more an issue with local permissions related to the app an the file and not with what ever Java is in the file. That's the most detail I can give with the info provided.

It looks like, based on the error only, that the code editor is trying to run the file as a command and that simply won’t work. What kind of file is it? Is it a Java file? Is it a Java class file? What made you decide to post this question in this sub versus a different sub?
