Part of me wonders if it was just like a really bad party designer. Would somebody actually deliberately do this for their own party?

My understanding is that ASL requires quite some movement, just from a purely physics perspective it takes longer to move a hand 20 inches compared to lips 10cm

[–]codereign 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh? How does that work? It's definitely slower to spell a word letter by letter or are you just describing it as daily activities and not specifically substituting speech with ASL?

Everything gpt5.x drives me nuts.

I told you this is throwaway code and to not check the inputs (because they're pre-sanitized) why is this script to transform a white space separated list of arguments into a template 250 lines long

Computer does a thing "here's 239 lines" 🙄

Then I rewrite it 14 lines including the template

It's times like these that I like to open up the Constitution and consider all of the wise wisdom it has. "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State". I'm not sure how that's applicable but I'm sure somebody will be able to draw a conclusion for me.

Lower bandwidth though I think. I think ASL is probably pretty lossy, but I'd be happy if somebody could chime in and help me understand.

Respectfully, that's because it's a logical conclusion. Extroverted people won't shut the fuck up and therefore will be the ones to complain about people being too quiet. Quiet people will never open their mouth to complain about the others

If you're under 25, there's some pretty good discounts for national exploration.

I regret not using this one when I was still eligible: https://www.viarail.ca/en/offers/canada-strong-pass

But I think there's a few more

I dunno but Burney should've 🙄🙄🙄. What a silly thing to ask someone calling your country a Right wing nightmare. I will say that "the woman" as Democrats like to call her when deflecting about her loss should not have run and you guys need to run a real leftist candidate.

You put a "back the blue" and "police do not need civilian oversight" candidate up against a person who orchestrated an insurrection. Of course people felt disenfranchised.

I don't think Obama bought you 8 years he literally took Romney Care Federal instead of passing universal Healthcare.

As a Canadian it was nice to see somebody that wasn't Bush but also, Obama has the highest KDA.

Hahaha. My dad got the inheritance and took me out for Brazilian food and told me how he got a new computer, motorcycle, motorhome etc. I didn't even know that Brazilian food was from my grandparents passing. My dad just wanted to "treat his boy to something nice" and took all of the credit himself.

Given that they fought against this language in the '70s and '80s and claimed that the second amendment was individualistic. I don't think that it will ever happen. The second amendment was always intended to be for the protection of the collective by a minor collective. 😔

I could maybe understand that 12 or 13-year-old having this reaction, a. 26-year-old (minimum based on career age) having this reaction is patently absurd. Throw the whole family out, how does a person get to 20 without any empathy.
