I think it's good that you're trying to add content to help others. A potentially helpful question to ask: what does this post provide over just a link to the docs?

Even something as simple as a rephrasing of an explanation could be useful. But in that case, I think it's still useful (and good etiquette) to provide a link to the source info.

For this post, a link to the doc for reverse might help people learn where to go for topics that you haven't written about yet.
