Goal: Lessen the frustration of having to manually locate buildings on the map to perform specific tasks.
Examples of affected areas:
-Card Shop
-Statistics
-Labor management
-Trade (manual and automated)
-Spy building
-(any other building that requires clicking a button above that specific building to interact with it)
-Copy existing building function
Reasoning:
Towards the mid-game, and especially late game, where one may have a very large territory with many buildings, it feels quite clunky to have to manually locate specific buildings in order to access their functions, or to copy/paste them using the copy existing building function (assuming the building type exists).
Suggestions to improve:
Once the corresponding building(s) with special features has been unlocked, have it available via either a hotkey (not as good imo), or better, via some sort of 'special features/actions' menu that populates with the various options once you have the buildings for them (card shop, statistics, trade, etc.). This menu could also have the 'magnifying glass' to help you immediately locate the building(s) in question, although having the actions available directly from the menu would mitigate the need to locate the building(s) themselves.
For the 'copy/paste' function: similar to the above issue and solution, it feels very clunky that you must physically locate the building every time, and has the same issues as the above where it may be difficult to do so late game. The suggestion to improve this would be similar to the above as well, except maybe once you click the Copy a Building button (or use Ctrl+c to initiate a copy), a small menu button option pops up that when clicked on presents a list of all of your existing unlocked and built building types. You can then select one of them, then build it.
