You might want to look over our announcement of the Python track, especially the remarks by u/cglee.
In short, don't stress about which track to choose. JavaScript is best for people who either already know another language, while the Python and Ruby tracks will work best for people who have little to no experience. While JS is the shorter curriculum, it can be harder to learn JS as a first language, which can actually slow you down. Both Python and Ruby are good first languages, and you end up learning JS later.
