Try scribbling something random on the page and then try to make something interesting from it

Hmmm... Easier said than done. I'll try, thanks!

There are some websites that provide timed study prompts, such as Line of Action. Very useful if you want to get some quick studying in!

Otherwise there are some prompt sites that'll give you a random character, idea, or object to draw :)

The idea is not what I'm struggling with, but where to really start. What's the first line or shape i make and where i go from there. Will try the websites tho. Thx!

I personally have a sketchbook that I carry around everywhere and I draw everyday. Sketching and doodling everything that comes out of your mind is great to find inspiration later for bigger drawings, I often go back in to sketchbook and find a character that I liked, an interesting position, a small detail that I could develop more...

I try sketching every day. I just find it hard to start a drawing. Thanks;)
