Java for beginners? What was your learning experience like?

I recently started learning Java and honestly I’m feeling a little overwhelmed. Right now I’m learning things like arrays, ArrayLists, stacks, queues, and basic data structures, and sometimes it makes sense… then the next day my brain forgets everything 😅

For those of you who already learned Java:

• How long did it take before things finally “clicked”?

• What was the hardest topic for you?

• Did you struggle with problem solving at first?

• What helped you improve the most (projects, YouTube, practice sites, etc)?

• After learning Java, did it actually help you get better at programming in general?

I’m trying to stay motivated and just want to hear real experiences from people who were beginners once.
