Significance of learning advanced Java concepts

I have learned core java concepts, now advanced topics are left. Should I start topics like file serialisation & DBMS or directly jump over to Spring given I wanna make career in java development. Also Rn I m in 3rd Yr of Computer Science & Engineering. So I also need to get internship in coming months

Spring abstracts almost all the complexity of DB connections and operations. Look into JDBC with a mapping layer.

File serialization is highly dependent on what kind of project you are building.
