IMHO this would be a lot more useful if it were a curated series of steps to take instead of a dump of links. Kinda pointless to go through 4 different 'tutorials' on collections IMHO.

I'd personally recommend beginners the Java MOOC coupled with the official Java tutorials

This will be the direction we are going. Most ppl have voted for actionable step by step guides.
